It’s a Science Takeover!

Come join the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Science and invited guests for a free day filled with hands on activities, live demonstrations, innovation and real science right from our researchers laboratories. We have activities for children, teens, and adults. Our scientists have lined up an exciting array of activities showing the magic of chemistry, the physics of flight and levitation, the wonders of parasites, and the power of explosive volcanic eruptions! Come explore our pop-up planetarium and learn about astronomical research. Discover how citizen scientists are helping with environmental conversation efforts. Find out answers to questions such as, could you untangle yourself using math? How do you build a paper rocket? Could you outrun a dinosaur?
