Getting Started with LinkedIn

Learn to connect, find employment, and build professional relationships using LinkedIn, a social networking website. Your Social Insurance Number (SIN) and some personal information will be required on a “Register a Person” form protected by the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP). This information is entered into a Provincial Client tracking system to show workshop attendance. Data is collected so that Alberta Works can also identify who is benefitting from what programs and in which location. The Library does not have access to the information collected. The next class in this series is LinkedIn for Work Search. In partnership with Alberta Works.
