You’ll need a valid Library card number and PIN for each person attending the program. Both parents/caregivers and children must have valid library memberships to register for all parented children’s programs. 50+ Lecture Series: Somatic Movement

Discover how to move with more ease and grace in your daily life through an active learning process which helps relax tight muscles, ease pain, and improve posture. This Somatic movement will reawaken your brain to unlearn patterns caused by injury, trauma or repetitive motions which may be causing an imbalance in your body. It teaches you to regain control and restore full activity when practiced long term. There will be a focus on small gentle movements that can be done seated in a chair. It is not a fitness class. Please wear comfortable clothing for ease of movement. In partnership with Yoga Evolution.
