Peter Craigie Memorial Lecture: An Afternoon with Professor Francis X. Clooney

As a Catholic theologian, priest, and Jesuit with a PhD in Hindu studies, Clooney’s research conforms to expectations in theology, religious studies, and Hindu studies. Underlying his work are resonances between Catholicism and Hinduism. The lecture considers his 40-year career balanced at the point where two great religions meet.
